Warning

Fraud warning

Fraudsters imitate legitimate investment firms because imitation works. This page tells you how to recognize the scams that misuse our name, how to verify you are really dealing with O'Shares Invest, and what to do in the first hour if you suspect you have been targeted.

The one rule that stops almost everything

We will never ask you to move money to a "safe wallet", to read out a one-time code, or to install remote-access software to "help with verification". Any instruction like that, by phone, email, text or social media, is fraud regardless of how much the sender knows about you. Hang up, close the chat, and write to [email protected] so the attempt is logged.

Clone firms and look-alike sites

Clone firms copy our name, our logo and sometimes whole pages of this site, then operate from a different domain. The defence is simple and absolute: our only domain is oshares-invest.co. Any "O'Shares" site on a different domain, and any mobile app not linked from this site, is not us. Check the address bar, not the logo on the page.

Clones often add urgency: a bonus that expires tonight, a "compliance window" that closes at 5 p.m., a fee that must be paid before your withdrawal is released. Legitimate services do not charge fees to release your money. Our withdrawals are free and our withdrawal policy is public on this site.

The recovery scam, which follows the scam

After a fraud, a second caller appears claiming they can recover your lost funds for an upfront fee or a "tax". This is the recovery scam, and it works precisely because the victim wants it to be true. No legitimate recovery requires payment first. If someone contacts you offering to recover money you lost, that contact is the second fraud.

Who scammers pretend to be

Common disguises in Canadian cases reported to us: an "account manager" who phones with an exclusive opportunity, a "senior analyst" on WhatsApp or Telegram, a recruiter offering a job that starts with a deposit, and a romantic contact who happens to be "very good at investing". Our real account managers call within 24 hours of your registration from a scheduled arrangement, and our only support channel is the email address published on this page.

If you suspect you have been scammed

Act in this order. Stop all contact and pay nothing further. Contact your bank or card issuer immediately to halt or reverse recent transfers; speed matters most in the first hours. Report to your local police service and to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Then write to us with the details so we can warn other users and preserve any records that help the investigation.

Verify before you send: the real platform never asks for your bank password, never requests transfers to personal names or external wallets, and never promises returns. When in doubt, close the conversation and reach us at the address on this page first.
