Compliance

Licensing and regulation

O'Shares Invest operates on a simple rule: say exactly what we do, under which framework, and with which limits. This page summarizes the regulatory environment that applies to our activity in Canada and how we meet it, including how complaints escalate to OBSI when we cannot resolve them ourselves.

The service provides analysis and support for investment decision-making. We do not hold client funds: your money stays in your own linked exchange or bank account, connected with read-only permissions for analysis.

Registration open, limited spots

Applicable regulation

One table per market where the service is available. Specific registration identifiers are confirmed with the relevant provider on request and published once officially confirmed; we do not invent licence numbers.

How we treat regulatory transparency

Mandatory identity verification

Every user completes KYC before trading, as required by Canadian anti-money-laundering rules. Verification also protects your account against impersonation attempts.

Responsible marketing

We publish no performance promises and no testimonials presented as verifiable results. The reviews on our home page are individual opinions and are labelled as such.

Open documentation

Terms, privacy, risk disclosure, fees and the withdrawal policy are public pages. Nothing that governs your use of the service is hidden inside a private contract.

A formal complaints channel

Complaints follow a documented process with response timelines and escalation to OBSI where our internal answer does not resolve the case, as described on the Complaints page.

To request confirmation of any regulatory detail, write to [email protected] and the compliance team will answer in writing.
